Understanding the terms and conditions for becoming a seller on the SmartPlay Entertainment Platform

The SmartPlay Entertainment is a digital content promotion, marketing and sales platform design for music artiste, actors/actresses and also digital content producers such as audio and video producers.

These contents include audio (music and podcast), video (music videos, short video, films, comedy skits) and also documents (books, magazines, articles and novels).

The SmartPlay Entertainment is not a religious or political platform, but an open platform for content producers to showcase and sell their digital contents.

Every content uploaded to the platform will undergo checking and verification to enable us filter good, bad, acceptable and unacceptable contents, or if the content actually belongs to the content seller uploading it. This will be done on every content before it is published for promotion and sales to the public.

Before you get started on becoming a content seller on SmartPlay Platform, here are some terms and conditions that is expected to be followed as you start this journey;

  1. You must be the sole owner of the contents you are uploading because if you are found wanting for uploading other contents that is not yours, you will be issued a strike, and ones you have two strikes, your account will be deleted and all funds acquired will be forfeited.
  2. Your contents must be of good quality, especially audio and video contents. Also, your contents graphics design must be of good and high quality.
  3. Your contents must not contain messages or information that are offensive, fake, hate speech, violence, pornography or blasphemy.
  4. Uploading of contents downloaded from the internet or others sources is not allowed, and violation of this rule will also get you a strike.


ACCOUNT CREATION AND ACTIVATION

To begin your journey on the SmartPlay platform, you need to create an account by filling a simple form. After creating your account, you are expected to activate your account by paying a one-time activation fee of N2,000.00 through the SmartPlay Content seller portal.
These funds will serve as contributions of the content sellers, which will be used for promotion, advertisement and publicity of the SmartPlay Entertainment Platform, to enable it gain wider coverage across the country.

Special Contents
A Special content is a content whose price is determined by the content producer due to its uniqueness or type. Before these contents are uploaded, the content owner must send an email to: content@smartplay.ng, stating why the content is special and to be priced differently. CASH-OUT AND WITHDRAWALS

For every content sold, the system automatically executes the sharing formula as stated above and the content seller’s and referrer’s e-wallet are automatically update. This means that, as a content seller or referrer you get to see your sales commission in real-time.

Your commission money is store in your e-wallet on the platform and not into your bank account. To be eligible to cash-out or make withdrawals, your e-wallet amount must be up to a thousand naira (N1,000).

To cash-out or make a withdrawal, you will need to send a cash-out request with the amount you want to withdraw and the money will be transferred to your bank account.

Guidelines and steps to becoming a successful digital content seller.

To become a successful content seller on the SmartPlay Entertainment platform, here are some guidelines and steps to help you achieve this;

  1. Create an account and upload an attractive profile photo.
  2. Your contents should be of high quality and standard, especially for audio and video contents.
  3. Get a good graphic designer to design your contents arts (Poster), because this is what the buyers see about your content. Buyers will always judge your content by the quality of your content arts design.
  4. Always give a good, detailed and interesting content description for your contents to allow buyers know more about you and your contents.
  5. Promote your content profile page using the social media share buttons on various social media platforms.
  6. Refer buyers to the platform to enable them buy your contents and also you can make more money from referral bonus. [See how]
  7. Always create new creative and intresting contents that is acceptable by your fans and also be consistent in doing so.
  8. You can also apply for special content and profile promotion packages to enable your contents or profile be easily accessible to buyers.
  9. Do not give out your contents for free download on blogs or any website but you can share your content profile pages on these blogs and websites!
  10. You can generate voucher PIN cards from your account and sell to your fans to enable them buy your contents.
  11. You can also give out free vouchers PINs to your fans to encourage them to buy more of your contents.
